The daily dose is 3 tablets. The 3 tablets can be taken all at once, or can be divided into 2 or 3 daily servings. After 5-7 days of taking 3 tablets/day, you may want to decrease the dose to 1 or 2 tablets daily, based on your symptoms.
Yes. However, cutting the tablets in half reduces the effectiveness of the enteric coating, and may slightly increase the risk (which is very low to begin with) of GI upset.
No. It is not recommended that the daily serving size of 3 tablets be exceeded. Based on the available science, ARTHRO-EASE is manufactured to include the optimum, most potent and effective dose of each of the ingredients, which is why it works so well.
Yes. As with most supplements, ARTHRO-EASE should be taken with food (but it may be take non an empty stomach as well) to reduce the chances that it will upset your stomach and to stimulate digestion and improve absorption.
No supplement is completely free from all side effects. The ingredients in ARTHRO-EASE may rarely cause some mild tolerability concerns(see below). Taking these ingredients at the recommended doses should not be harmful, provided that you do not have any other medical issues or allergies that would make you sensitive to any of the ingredients, and that there are no contraindications to taking them with any other substances or drugs that you are currently taking. Always consult your healthcare professional before taking ARTHRO-EASE.
Curcumin:
Turmeric and curcumin seem to be generally well tolerated. The most common side effects observed in clinical studies are gastrointestinal and include constipation, dyspepsia, diarrhea, distension, gastroesophageal reflux, nausea, vomiting, yellow stool and stomachache. Due to their ability to increase bile secretion, turmeric and curcumin should not be taken by individuals with obstruction of the bile duct, cholangitis, liver disease, gallstones and any other biliary disease.
BioperineThe vast majority of the side effects that could possibly be caused by Bioperine are mild and related to the GI tract. They include, nausea, gas, and decreased appetite. Other rare potential side effects that are usually mild if they occur, include confusion, over excitement, depression, a sleep disorder, or taste impairment.
Ginger:Ginger can cause mild side effects including heartburn, diarrhea, burping, and general stomach discomfort.
MSM: In some people, MSM might cause nausea, diarrhea, bloating, fatigue, headache, insomnia, itching, or worsening of allergy symptoms. In the clinical studies that showed these mild side effects, people taking a placebo also reported similar symptoms.
Glucosamine:Because glucosamine products might be derived from the shells of shellfish, there is concern that the supplement could cause an allergic reaction in people with shellfish allergies. As with the other ingredients, the rare side effects associated with glucosamine sulfate are GI and include nausea, heartburn, diarrhea, and constipation.
Boswellia:Rare, mild side effects of Boswellia have been reported and include, nausea, acid reflux, and diarrhea.
Our products are made in a facility that abides by the FDA’s CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Process) standards. The facility where we manufacture also tests all raw ingredients for purity, the presence of bacteria and viruses, heavy metals and any other substances that should not be present in the raw materials. After manufacturing, the facility also tests the finished products again to make sure they meet the same standards as the raw products. They test every batch and provide us with certificates of analysis for every batch tested. Additionally, the manufacturing facility washes equipment down after every batch, using food grade cleaners on the equipment. Then, the equipment is washed down again with water to remove the cleaners from the equipment. The manufacturing and storage facilities are also temperature and humidity controlled to ensure that the active ingredients retain their shelf life. We also manufacture in small batches, to avoid having to keep inventory on the shelves (which wears out shelf life).
